Cochin carnival

The Cochin Carnival Committee is the official body responsible for planning, organizing, and hosting the annual Cochin Carnival in Fort Kochi. Established in the mid-1980s, the committee has been carrying forward this celebration for nearly four decades. Formed through the collective involvement of local clubs, cultural organizations, community leaders, artists, youth groups, and civic representatives, it ensures that the carnival remains inclusive, community-driven, and deeply connected to the cultural heritage of Kochi. Guided by the core values of peace, unity, joy, and participation, the committee works each year to create a festival that welcomes everyone, celebrates diversity, and honors the unique multicultural spirit that defines Fort Kochi.
